lemon pudding jello a side dish

This recipe is so good I decided to post it on it's own. It is posted with the Shrimp Salad. You are going to love this ! This recipe works well with other puddings and jello too.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces pkg. lemon jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 3 ounces pkg. lemon instant pudding
  • 8 ounces pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped pimentos, optional
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 2 cups diced apple, unpeeled or peeled your choice

How To Make lemon pudding jello a side dish

  • Step 1
    Dissolve jello in boiling water; stir in the cold water. Chill for about 1 to 1 1/2 hour; just until it jells a little.
  • Step 2
    Prepare the pudding with the milk; chill 5 minutes. Beat the cream cheese until creamy and add the pudding mixture to the cream cheese along with the partially set jello. Beat for 2 minutes. Fold in remaining ingredients and pour into mold or bowl and chill until set. Unmold onto serving plate or serve from bowl.
