We had a BBQ at our house, and my friend Dar (who has to be careful what she eats) made this. My hubby and daughter LOVED it.

    celery, diced
  • ·
    onion, diced
  • ·
    hard boiled egg, diced
  • ·
    garlic, minced
  • can(s)
    kidney beans, drained
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • ·
    oregano, dried
  • ·
    basil, dried
  • ·
    parsley flakes
  • ·

How to Make Kidney Bean Salad of Dar's


  1. Mix celery , onion, egg, garlic and drained beans. Season then add mayo as needed.
  2. Dar said she heated the mayo up before adding, because then she can eat it...I assume in the microwave? She never said.
  3. You can easily multiply this with more cans of beans. Add 1 egg per can, and adjust other ingredients and seasonings to taste.
