    cucumber sliced very thin
  • 1/2 tsp

  • 3 Tbsp
    rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    black sesame seeds
  • ·
    shredded dried seaweed for garnish (optional)

How to Make Japanese Cucumber Salad


  1. Mix the cucumber with the salt and set aside.
  2. Mix the rice vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and black sesame seeds together until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour dressing over cucumbers and garnish with dried seaweed if desired.
