I love Seven Layer Salads. So easy and tasty too. I make it for a quick meal or a quick potluck item for church or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (large) shredded or mixed salad greens
  • 3 to 4 - hard boiled eggs chopped
  • 1 package (small) frozed peas (thawed)
  • 3/4 cup green onions or white onions chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups hellman's mayonaise
  • 1 package shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package real bacon bits

How To Make in a pinch seven layer salad

  • Step 1
    Boil eggs for about 10 minutes or until hard stage. Peel and chop eggs. Place layer of lettuce in bottom of bowl. Then add chopped eggs for next layer. The third layer will be the thawed peas (uncooked).
  • Step 2
    Next I add the green onions. Then I spread the mayonaise to fully cover the top of the salad (sort of like icing). Next I add the shredded cheese and top of with the bacon bits.
  • Step 3
    Add salt and pepper to your liking.
