imitation crab salad or casserole

This tastes good cold or warm. Make it to suit your preference. We like it with lots of chopped celery which gives it a nice crunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound imitation crabmeat, chopped
  • 1-2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2-1 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cups cooked rice or pasta
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons old bay seasoning
  • 1-1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (for casserole)

How To Make imitation crab salad or casserole

  • Step 1
    For crab salad combine all ingredients, except for cheese. Chill for a few hours.
  • Step 2
    For casserole, combine all but cheese. Put into greased baking dish, top with cheese. Bake at 350’ for 30 minutes.
