    head green cabbage, finely shredded (about 4 lbs)
  • 2 c
    tomatoes, chopped (about 2 large)
  • 1 c
    cilantro, chopped (about 1 large bunch, stemmed)
  • 1 1/2 c
    lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 1/2 tsp
  • 3/4 tsp
    ground cumin
  • ·
    freshly ground black pepper (about 6 turns)

How to Make Honduran Cabbage Salad


  1. Combine the cabbage, tomatoes, and cilantro. Toss with the lemon juice, salt, cumin, and pepper.
  2. Allow the salad to sit for about 15 minutes.
