This dish is out of my church cookbook and is very tasty. This dish gets even better the second day. Great dish to take to potlucks!

Ingredients

  • 1 can french style green beans
  • 1 can peas (small can)
  • 4 - celery stalks, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 - green pepper, diced

How To Make green bean salad - steph

  • Step 1
    Drain the green beans and peas. Dice the celery, onion, and green pepper. Marinate the above ingredients in the following mixture: 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. salad oil 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. white vinegar Mix until sugar is dissolved. Pour over vegetables and let stand overnight. Drain 1 1/2 hours before serving.
