I found this in a book of salads from 1978 , I have not tried it but it sounds interesting.

cream cheese, room temperature
cream , whipped
chopped green pepper
How To Make
Blend cream cheese and mayonnaise , tabasco , and salt together.
Fold in the whipped cream.
Blend in crab , celery , green pepper , carrots and onion.
Pour into two freezer trays ; freeze until solid ; about 6-8 hours.
Remove from the freezer and let stand at room temperature for about 15 minutes before slicing ; Serve on lettuce leaves.
