Ingredients

  • 6 slice
    bacon
  • 1
    cabbage, shredded
  • 1 Tbsp
    hot pepper flakes
  • 1
    onion,sliced
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    vinegar (any kind you like)
  • 4 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1
    apple sliced (can omit)

How to Make Fried Cabbage

Step-by-Step

  1. Fry bacon and keep grease. Break up cooked bacon.
  2. Add to skillet sliced onion,water,salt,pepper,vinegar,sugar,hot pepper flakes(Optional)Stir together.
  3. Slice up cabbage and apple(optional) and add to skillet mixture.
  4. Cook on medium about 20 minutes till tender and soft.
