I came up with this simple idea because I wanted to add more vegetables to our diet, and this seemed to be a good idea! Now its a family favorite.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 1 pkg
    broccoli slaw
  • 1/2 can(s)
    pineapple tidbits( drained)
  • 1 pkg
    pecans (chopped) *as little/much as you like!
  • 1/2 c
    miracle whip (no fat)
  • 1/4 c
    pineapple juice
  • FANTASTIC BROCCOLI SLAW

How to Make Fantastic Broccoli Slaw

Step-by-Step

  1. Drain pineapple chunks, set aside.
  2. Empty broccoli slaw into colender, rinse quickly and shake or spin dry.
  3. Place miracle whip in bowl, and mix in juice until well mixed. Dressing should be creamy but not runny.
  4. Mix Pineapple chunks into the slaw and mix with the miracle whip/juice dressing, until slaw is well coated. Best if chilled for 1 hour before serving. Toss in Pecans just before serving.
  5. TIP: IF THIS DRESSING SEEMS TOO SWEET FOR YOUR TASTE, ADD A SMALL SPRINKLING OF SALT TO THE DRESSING.BE CARFUL OF THE AMOUNT OF SALT ADDED.
  6. TIP #2: Variation to this recipe, Add chopped apples, and chopped walnuts to the slaw. Use apple juice to loosen the miracle whip.
