From an Ethiopian video site. While this is an authentic recipe, it does not contain the typical Ethiopian berbere seasoning, nor does it have torn bits of injera. Which works for me - no access to any ethnic grocery store and I'm a wimp for heat!

- 2-3 large tomatoes, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 small jalapeno, seeded and cut into matchsticks
- 2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
- 1/2 medium white onion, roughly chopped
- - salt to taste

Step 1Arrange tomato slices on a large plate.

Step 2Sprinkle with salt. Distribute onion, garlic and pepper evenly over tomatoes.
