This is one that my Mama regularly served with Sunday roast beef, rice and gravy. You can add or delete anything you like and it's still a colorful, delicious salad!

1 15 oz. can(s)
green peas, drained
2 or 3
hard boiled eggs
1 sm. jar(s)
pimiento, diced
1/2 c
cheddar cheese (i use grated)
1 tsp
chives, dried
1/3 c
miracle whip salad dressing
salt & pepper to taste

How to Make English Pea Salad


  • 1Boil eggs and cool; peel, slice and set aside.
  • 2Drain peas* and combine in bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Add eggs and stir well.
  • 3Chill and serve.
  • 4*Frozen peas, cooked, drained and chilled, may be substituted for canned.
