Ingredients
- 2 - medium sized cucumbers, sliced
- 1/2 - onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
How To Make cucumbers and onions

Step 1Sprinkle sliced cucumbers with salt. Let stand 30 minutes, then lightly squeeze and drain water from cucumbers.

Step 2After draining water from cucumbers, place cucumbers and sliced onions in a large bowl.

Step 3In a medium saucepan, bring water, vinegar, sugar and celery seed to a boil. Pour mixture over cucumbers and onion. Refrigerate until chilled or overnight.
