I have had salad like this before. It is delicious and gets better with time on a buffet. Had to claim this orphan recipe.

chicken ramen noodles
1/2 c
vegetable oil
3 Tbsp
cider vinegar
2 Tbsp
1/2 tsp
dried oregano
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
5 c
shredded green cabbage
3/4 c
chopped green bell pepper
3/4 c
chopped sweet red cabbage
1/2 c
shredded carrots
3/4 c
chopped red bell pepper
1/2 c
chopped green onion
1/2 c
slivered almonds, toasted

How to Make Crunchy Cabbage Salad


  • 1Break noodles, set aside, in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  • 2Combine the oil, vinegar, sugar, oregano, salt, pepper and half of the contents from the noodle seasoning packet, shake well.
  • 3(Discard remaining seasoning or save for another use.)
  • 4In a large bowl, combine the vegetables and almonds.
  • 5When ready to serve add noodles and dressing and toss to coat.
  • 6Yield 10-12 servings. ENJOY!
