creamy loaded pea and cheese salad
What a great recipe for Easter or other potluck events. Summertime is a good time to have the salad too, although since this recipe has mayonnaise, you may want to keep it on ice in the container or put it in the refrigerator after everyone has served up some. It’s such an easy side dish. My husband loves pea salad, so I made it up to eat with our air fryer drumsticks. It’s very refreshing, and you get a little bit of everything in every bite.

How To Make creamy loaded pea and cheese salad
-
1Whisk up your dressing ingredients in a large resealable bowl.
-
2Add in frozen peas, onion, bacon, cheese, Dijon, mustard, and sugar.
-
3Using a large metal spoon, stir all ingredients together until thoroughly combined. It is OK if the peas are still frozen. I’ve done this recipe many times, and those frozen small peas will thaw out as they sit in the refrigerator.
-
4I let mine sit overnight in the refrigerator, or if you’re in a hurry, just two hours.
-
5When ready to serve, give it a quick toss so that everything is coated.
-
6Serve and enjoy.
