creamy broccoli salad

My family loves this salad at cookouts and holidays. I have cut the sugar in half when I make the dressing. It's very sweet with the original cup of sugar.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 pound fried bacon drained and crumbled
  • 12 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup miracle whip
  • 1 cup sugar

How To Make creamy broccoli salad

  • Step 1
    Mix Miracle Whip and sugar together and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Fry bacon until crispy, drain and cool on papertowels. Crumble when cool.
  • Step 3
    While you bacon is frying cut florets from broccoli stems, (I use 6 stems)but, you can also use packaged florets from the produce department. Place in large mixing bowl.
  • Step 4
    Mix the shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, florets, and dressing together in large bowl. Refridgerate for 1 hour. Serve.
