This salad slaw is very good served with a grilled meal. I always order a corn slaw salad with ribs at a very popular Southern-style BBQ restaurant in Florida. So I tried to duplicate the recipe and this is very similar, and oh so good.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen corn, cooked
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced red pepper
  • 1 cup finely chopped cucumbers (removed seeds before chopping
  • 1/2 cup chopped red or vidalia onion
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup daisy brand sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

How To Make corn slaw salad

  • Step 1
    In a salad bowl, toss corn, carrots, green peppers, red peppers, cucumbers and onions.
  • Step 2
    In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; pour over vegetables and mix well. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
  • Step 3
    TIP: Use a WIZARD CHOPPER to get all consistent small chopped vegetable cubes.
