I adapted my grandmother's 3 bean salad to come up with this colorful, flavorful version.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can green beans
- 1 can yellow wax beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can garbanzo beans
- 1 can great northern beans
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 large red bell pepper, chopped
How To Make confetti bean salad

Step 1Combine sugar, vinegar, oil and salt and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.

Step 2Drain all beans, rinse in cold water, drain and add to bowl. Add onions and peppers. Mix well. Marinate in refrigerator for 24 hours for best flavor.

Step 3NOTES: You can use any type of canned bean you prefer - cannelini, great northern, pinto, red beans, small white, cranberry, etc.
