Cole Slaw Dressing
Each year, I prepare the backstage food for a local Blues Music festival. The artist I have served have raved about the fact that my slaw is not mayonnaise based.

1 csalad oil
1 cgranulated sugar
1 tspcelery seed
1 tspblack pepper
How to Make Cole Slaw Dressing
- Add all ingredients to a quart jar. Mix well. Store in refrigerator. Shake well before using.
- To prepare slaw:
Combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, diced bell pepper and grated onion. Add a small amount of dressing.
- DO NOT SATURATE! The slaw will create its own juices.
I like to use part balsamic vinegar
You can use the prepared slaw mix in the produce dept.
