Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 bunches green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 - head cabbage, cored and chopped fine
  • 1 - cucumber, grated
  • 1 cup mayonnaise

How To Make cole slaw

  • Step 1
    Chop cabbage and green onions in a large bowl. Add grated cucumber.
  • Step 2
    In another bowl, add buttermilk, mayonnaise, salt, sugar, lemon juice, hot sauce and pepper. Whisk until it is creamy.
  • Step 3
    Pour over cabbage mixture. Blend thoroughly and refrigerate until time to serve.
