Ingredients

  • 1 tsp
    louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 bunch
    green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 c
    buttermilk
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    head cabbage, cored and chopped fine
  • 1
    cucumber, grated
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise

How to Make Cole Slaw

Step-by-Step

  1. Chop cabbage and green onions in a large bowl. Add grated cucumber.
  2. In another bowl, add buttermilk, mayonnaise, salt, sugar, lemon juice, hot sauce and pepper. Whisk until it is creamy.
  3. Pour over cabbage mixture. Blend thoroughly and refrigerate until time to serve.
