    salad oil
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1 tsp
  • 1
    head cabbage, shredded
  • 1
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    carrot, shredded

How to Make Cold Slaw That Keeps


  1. Mix the first four ingredients in pan and bring to boil for 1 minute. Pour over cabbage/veggie mix immediately.
  2. To save time, I will use prepared slaw mix from the store. This slaw keeps very well so is easy to make ahead of time for taking to pot luck, etc.
