Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 9 - edium red apples, cored and diced
- 3 cups sliced celery
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
How To Make classic waldorf salad

Step 1In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until smooth.

Step 2In a large bowl, combine the apples and celery.

Step 3Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the apples and celery and toss until coated.

Step 4Cover and chill for 30 minutes. Just before serving, toss in the walnuts.
