This is an old recipe from my Mom.You can freeze it in containers and use it when you want it

I love this cole slaw!!

  • 1 c
  • 1 c
  • 2 1/2 lb
    cabbage shredded
  • 2/3 c
    green pepper..diced small
  • 1/2 c
    sweet red pepper..diced small (optional)
  • 1/4 c
    onion (diced small)
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    mustard seed
  • 1 tsp
    celery seed
  • ·
    shredded carrots

How to Make Cabbage Slaw


  1. Heat vinegar,Add sugar & stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved..Cool
  2. Mix remaining ingredients;combine thoroughly.
    Combine with cooled vinegar-sugar mixture.
    Chill in refrigerator at least 1 hour,more if possible.(longer is better)
    May be stored in refrigerator several days OR Frozen in portion size amounts.
