broccoli salad
This recipe was given to me by my friend Jackie!! You can make it low calorie by using low fat cheese, mayonnaise and bacon bits. It is a great salad for a barbecue and serves 12 or more. I get a lot of requests for this, yum!!

Ingredients
- 5 crowns broccoli
- 3 oz bacon bits
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 9 oz mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 8 packets splenda
How To Make broccoli salad

Step 1Put broccoli, bacon bits, onion and shredded cheddar cheese in large bowl

Step 2Make dressing: Mix mayonnaise , vinegar and Splenda in separate bowl

Step 3Pour dressing over broccoli mix, toss until mix is well coated

Step 4Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight
