This recipe was given to me by my friend Jackie!! You can make it low calorie by using low fat cheese, mayonnaise and bacon bits. It is a great salad for a barbecue and serves 12 or more. I get a lot of requests for this, yum!!

Ingredients For broccoli salad

5 crownsbroccoli

3 ozbacon bits

1 smallonion, chopped

2 cupssharp cheddar cheese, shredded

9 ozmayonnaise

1/4 cupcider vinegar

8 packetssplenda
How To Make broccoli salad

1Put broccoli, bacon bits, onion and shredded cheddar cheese in large bowl

2Make dressing: Mix mayonnaise , vinegar and Splenda in separate bowl

3Pour dressing over broccoli mix, toss until mix is well coated

4Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight
