Ingredients

  • 2 bunch
    broccoli florets, cut stems & florets into small pcs
  • 1/4 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 lb
    bacon, cooked & broken into small pcs
  • 1/2 c
    white or golden raisins
  • 1/2 c
    sunflower kernels
  • 1 c
    salad dressing or mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    vinegar

How to Make Broccoli Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. In a 2qt casserole dish or a 11"X 7"X 1.5" baking pan, layer: broccoli, onion, raisins, bacon, & sunflowers kernels.
  2. Mix mayo, sugar, & vinegar. Pour over mixture.
  3. Cover w/lid or slightly dome aluminum foil over dish & refrid. 1-2hrs or over night if making ahead.
  4. Stir before serving.
