I have made this salad many times and it disappears quickly. It is super easy to make and tasty too. Because it is so simple is the reason I think it goes over so well. Nobody's wondering what is in the salad as there is only 4 ingredients. If you are craving broccoli, love bacon and cheddar cheese this will hit the spot every time. I got this recipe years ago from a lady that I worked with. Everytime she brought this salad in for a party it was the first to disappear. Hope you enjoy. When I make it again I will post a pic.

Ingredients

  • SALAD
  • 2 - heads of broccoli (large)
  • 2 cups monterey jack & cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1 pound bacon (fried crisp and crumbled)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • DRESSING
  • 1 cup mayonnaise dressing
  • 1/2 cup sugar or sugar substitute
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, seasoned
  • 2 tablespoons milk

How To Make broccoli salad

  • Step 1
    Chop up the broccoli into small pieces. Add your diced onion, cheese and crumbled baon.
  • Step 2
    Fix your dressing by adding the ingredients together into a bottle with a lid and shake till combined. Now add to salad and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours but even better if make it the night before. Before serving toss the salad once again and then plate your salad.
