broccoli salad

This is a recipe that I got from a lady at a Tole Painting workshop. I love this salad because the dressing isn't sweet and it's easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 3 - bunches of broccoli; cut in bite size pieces (don't use the stems)
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese; shredded or cubed
  • 1/2 cup red onion; minced
  • 1 package real bacon pieces (hickory flavor)
  • 16 ounces bottle paul newman'sranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

How To Make broccoli salad

  • Step 1
    Note: I do not do this, but you can blanch the broccoli beforehand if you prefer. I also usually eyeball the ingredients, so use as much or as little as you want of each ingredient.
  • Step 2
    To prepare: blend all ingredients together in bowl. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
