broccoli & cauliflower salad

I had some veggies that needed to be used, so I thought, why not? Hubby even said(which he hardly ever does), "this is the best salad I've eaten in a long time! You can make this again!" Made my day! It's relatively healthy too!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 - head fresh cauliflower
  • 2 -3 - heads of broccoli, tops only
  • 1 medium red bell pepper
  • 1 small sweet onion
  • 3-4 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled or real bacon bits
  • 1 cup helmann's mayo
  • 1/2 cup kraft zesty italian dressing
  • 1/2 cup mexican blend shredded cheese

How To Make broccoli & cauliflower salad

  • Step 1
    Break cauliflower & broccoli into small bite sized pieces and put into a large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
    Dice onion & red pepper small & add to veggies. Add bacon & toss. In a smaller bowl, combine mayo & dressing until smooth. Pour over veggies & stir well to make sure everything is coated.
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate until ready to serve. Just before serving, add cheese & toss well! Enjoy!
