Ingredients For broccoli and cauliflower salad

8 slicebacon fried, or you can use bacon bits

1 bunchbroccoli florets (small bite size pieces)

1 bunchcauliflower, small florets (small bite size pieces)

1 1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded

1/2purple or red onion chopped

1/2 cred wine vinegar
-
1/4 csugar
-
1 1/3 cmayonnaise

2 tsplemon juice, fresh

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make broccoli and cauliflower salad

1Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, and crumble.

2In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cauliflower, cheese, bacon and onion.

3Prepare the dressing in a small bowl by whisking together the red wine vinegar, sugar, pepper, salt, mayonnaise and lemon juice.

4Combine dressing with salad. Cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
