Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon fried, or you can use bacon bits
- 1 bunch broccoli florets (small bite size pieces)
- 1 bunch cauliflower, small florets (small bite size pieces)
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 - purple or red onion chopped
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/3 cups mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice, fresh
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make broccoli and cauliflower salad

Step 1Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, and crumble.

Step 2In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cauliflower, cheese, bacon and onion.

Step 3Prepare the dressing in a small bowl by whisking together the red wine vinegar, sugar, pepper, salt, mayonnaise and lemon juice.

Step 4Combine dressing with salad. Cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
