Bread and tomato salad

Easy peasy and really delicious.


  • four pieces day old toasted wheat bread
  • three fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • one quarter onion, chopped
  • oregano, pinch, to taste
  • fresh basil, to taste
  • extra virgin olive oil, to taste
  • salt to taste

How To Make

  • 1
    dip for bread in water for a few seconds then allow excess water to drop off. Break into small pieces and mix with chopped tomatoes, onion, oregano, fresh basil, ripped by hand, salt and a generous amount of olive oil. Mix well to combined and serve. Serves four. In Italy, this is called Panzanella
