black bean and corn salad

I had this at a church picnic. It has become a family favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can garbanzo beans, drained
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 small red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon water

How To Make black bean and corn salad

  • Step 1
    In large bowl, combine beans, corn, peppers and onions. Combine sugar, vinegar, oil and water. Stir or shake well dressing ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Pour over vegetables. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
