I am trying to eat less carbs and more protein and salad. This salad is so yummy & with the lean meat and light mayo it still clocks in at absolutely delicious while lower in calories.

Ingredients For big mac salad

  • 1 lb
    lean ground turkey or 93% lean ground beef
  • 1/2 small
    red onion, finely chopped
  • 1
    dill pickle, finely chopped
  • 1/2 c
    shredded colby jack cheese
  • 3/4
    tomatoes, chopped
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    sesame seeds
  • iceberg lettuce head, washed and torn x
  • 1/2 c
    light mayo
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp
    mustard
  • 2 Tbsp
    dill pickle juice

How To Make big mac salad

  • 1
    Brown meat in a skillet (I added 1 T dried onion, pinch of celery flakes, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, Lawrys seasoned salt & pepper, cooking till all meat was not longer pink, and breaking it up till crumbly.

    Mix dressing ingredients (mayo, ketchup, sweet pickle relish & mustard together. While meat is cooking, assemble lettuce on 4 serving plates, top with tomatoes, onion, dill pickle, and then sprinkle the meat divided into 4ths, over each salad. Too with shredded cheese & drizzle with the dressing. Sprinkle each salad with sesame seeds. Enjoy
