This is a great sandwich. It's something different from just plain egg salad. You can also just eat the salad on a bed of lettuce with sliced tomatoes.

    hard boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    mayonaise or miracle whip
  • 1 small
    onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    pickle relish, sweet
  • 1 Tbsp
    prepared mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    fresh parsley, minced
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    basil, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
    celery seed
  • 5
    bacon strips, cooked and crumbled

    lettuce leaves
  • ·
    6-8 large croissant's

How to Make Bacon and Egg Salad Samies


  1. In a bowl, combine the first 14 ingredients; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Just before serving, stir in bacon. Place lettuce leaf and about 1/2 cup egg salad on each croissant.
