Ingredients

  • 16 ounces package of coleslaw mix with carrots
  • 4 - green onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 ounces packageof chicken ramen noodles, broken up (save seasoning)
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • DRESSING
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package noodle seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

How To Make asian coleslaw

  • Step 1
    One hour before serving: Combine coleslaw mix, green onions, noodles, almonds, and sunflower seeds in a bowl. Cover and chill until serving time.
  • Step 2
    Dressing: In a screw-top jar, combine oil, vinegar, sugar, pepper and seasoning package. Cover and shake. Chill until serving time.
  • Step 3
    When ready to serve: Shake jar of dressing. Then pour over the slaw mixture. Toss to coat. Makes 12 side dish servings.
