Ingredients For apple salad

20 ozcan crushed pineapple, drained, save juice

1/2 csugar
-
1 Tbspflour
-
1-2 Tbspvinegar
-
1beaten egg
-
12 ozfrozen whipped topping, thawed

2medium red apples, diced
-
2medium green apples, diced
-
4 cminiature marshmallows
-
1 choney roasted peanuts
How To Make apple salad

1Drain pineapple, reserving juice, set pineapple aside.

2In a saucepan, combine sugar, flour, vinegar and reserved juice until smooth. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat.

3Stir a small amount of hot mixture into egg, return all to the pan, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, cool.

4Fold in whipped topping, fold in apples, marshmallows and reserved pineapple. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Just before serving fold in the peanuts.
