4 bean salad

Better than the traditional 3 Bean Salad and I have even added extra beans and always get good results. Enjoy

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1 can 16oz can cut green beans (drained )
  • 1 can 16 oz can black beans ( drained )
  • 1 can 16oz can garbanzo beans (chickpeas) drained
  • 1 can 16 oz can red kidney beans (drained )
  • 1 large green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 medium red or sweet onion, chopped

How To Make 4 bean salad

  • Step 1
    Bring the sugar, oil and vinegar to a boil in a saucepan. Let cool.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile, drain the beans and combine in a large bowl. Add the green pepper, celery and red or sweet onion. Pour the dressing over the beans and vegetables. Toss gently and let marinate overnight in the fridge Very Tasty
