Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2/3 c
    white vinegar
  • 1 can(s)
    16oz can cut green beans (drained )
  • 1 can(s)
    16 oz can black beans ( drained )
  • 1 can(s)
    16oz can garbanzo beans (chickpeas) drained
  • 1 can(s)
    16 oz can red kidney beans (drained )
  • 1 large
    green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped celery
  • 1 medium
    red or sweet onion, chopped

How to Make 4 Bean Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring the sugar, oil and vinegar to a boil in a saucepan. Let cool.
  2. Meanwhile, drain the beans and combine in a large bowl. Add the green pepper, celery and red or sweet onion.
    Pour the dressing over the beans and vegetables. Toss gently and let marinate overnight in the fridge
