spiced orange jello, victoria's baptism
I made this for Victoria's Baptism party, as it has always been a favorite recipe of mine. A dollop of whipped cream or cool whip on top adds just another sweet taste to this wonderful recipe!

Ingredients
- 11 ounces can mandarin orange sections
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 - inches stick cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
- 2 - 3 oz pkgs orange jello
- 2 cups cold water
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make spiced orange jello, victoria's baptism

Step 1Drain oranges. Reserve syrup and add water to make 1 3/4 cups. In pan, mix syrup/water, salt and spices. Cover and simmer 10 min. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, 10 more min. Strain and dissolve jello in hot liquid. Add cold water and lemon juice. Chill til partially set and add oranges and nuts.
