This is such a good jello salad, and you can use any flavor combinations! The ones I chose are in () in the ingredients, but any combination is good.

Stove Top


  • 2 pkg
    lime jello (i used orange)
  • 1 pkg
    lemon jello (i used tropical fruit)
  • 1/2 c
    mini marshmallows
  • 1 c
    pineapple juice
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese (i used low fat)
  • 1 can(s)
    crushed pineapple
  • 1 c
    heavy cream, whipped (i used cool whip)
  • 1 c
    mayo (i used low fat)
  • 2 pkg
    cherry jello (i used strawberry)

How to Make Ribbon Salad, Madeleine's


  1. In deep 9x13 sprayed with PAM, prepare lime jello. Let set. Dissolve lemon in hot water in double boiler, add marshmallows and melt. Remove from heat and add juice and cream cheese. Beat well and stir in pineapple. Cool slightly, fold in whipped cream and mayo. Spread over 1st layer and allow to set. Make cherry jello and pour over top while syrupy.
  2. Use any combinations of jello. I have used sugar free, with no problem.
