mom made this when i was a kid...i've made a few changes to it...this is wonderful on the x-mas dinner table...great color....

Ingredients

1 package red hot cinnomon candies
2 cups cold applesauce
1 package any serves 8 red flavored jello[i use sugar free]
1 cup chopped mixed nut... what ever you have will work
1 package 8 oz fat free cream cheese
- milk... as needed

How To Make red hot applesauce mold

Step 1

put 1 cup water in small saucepan melt candies... watch close so they don't burn

Step 2

put jello in lg bowl...add candy mix... stir to disolve jello
Step 3

add applesauce stir well put in fridge til it starts to set up
Step 4

add nuts[ i have also added celery,rasins,]... mix well... put in nice mold dish... refrigerate til set
Step 5

before serving...unmold
Step 6

mix cream cheese[at room temp] with a few drops of milk... til spreading consistincy... frost mold.. sprinkle a few nuts on top...
