Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c
    broken pretzels
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    melted oleo
  • 1-8oz pkg
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    cool whip
  • 1-6 oz pkg
    strawberry or cherry gelatin (sugar free is okay)

How to Make Pretend Pecan Gelatin Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine pretzels, sugar and oleo. Spread in the bottom of a 9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  2. Beat together powdered sugar, cream cheese. Fold in cool whip. Spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
  3. Prepare gelatin and let cool until syrupeyand almost solid. Slowly pour over the cream cheese layer. Chill until firm. Overnight is best.
