My first job as a LTC Activity Director was at the Guest House. Mrs. Ann was the administer. She made this fabulous salad for a pot luck for employees she hosted at Christmas time. Lots of fond memories!

Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    black bing cherries, *not pie filling*
  • 2 pkg
    cherry jello
  • 1
    large can crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 12 oz
    coca cola
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped

How to Make Mrs. Ann's Bing Cherry Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Drain cherries, but reserve juice. Heat juice and water. Dissolve jello and sugar in hot liquid. Add other ingredients. Pour into mold and let chill for at least 6 hours.
