Lime Pear Delight
I don't use a mold. I just pour it into a clear plastic bowl with a cover that I can store in the refrigerator.
I also like nuts in my jello and always add some chopped walnuts to it.
How to Make Lime Pear Delight
- Dissolve 1 package lime jello in 1 cup hot pear juice. (Strain juice from canned pears and add enough water to juice to make one cup.) Juice can be heated in a glass measuring cup in the microwave.
- Puree the pears in blender. Add pureed pears to the softened cream cheese and blend to a smooth consistency using a mixer. Stir into jello.
- Whip the one cup heavy cream and fold into the jello mixture. Pour into mold, chill till firm, and unmold.
