My daughter in law makes this delicious salad often,especially during the year when we can't get fresh cranberries. When you cut the orange,squeeze as much juice as you can from the remaining half if the orange and use that,it may be more than 2 t.

Ingredients For kris's cranberry salad

  • 8 oz can crushed pineapple,drained
  • 1/2 fresh orange,minced
  • 1/2 c cranberry juice
  • 2 t. orange juice
  • small box raspberry-flavor gelatin
  • 14 oz can cranberry sauce

How To Make kris's cranberry salad

    Combine pineapple juice, cranberry & orange juice in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add gelatin, stirring to dissolve. Break up cranberry sauce with a fork. Stir into gelatin mixture. Refrigerate the jello begins to set. Stir in pineapple,orange and celery. Pour into a 4-cup mold. Chill until firm.
