My late sister-in-law Joyce Bostic made me fall in love with cranberry salad.I've made it every year since she so graciously gave me her recipe. Thank you Joyce

Ingredients

1 bag(s)
fresh cranberries
1 c
celery (optional)
1/2 c
chopped walnuts
1 small
can crushed pineapple drained
1 c
peeled ;diced apples
1 large
box cherry or cranberry jello
2 c
sugar

Step-By-Step

1Rinse and sort cranberries; boil in 2 and 1/2 cups of water until berries start popping open; about seven minuets. Add two cups of sugar during this seven minuets. Remove from heat let cool for ten minuets. Add box of jello; mix well; add pineapple; apples and nuts. You can also use celery but I choose to leave it out. Mix well and chill overnight.
