Ingredients

1 box strawberry jell-o (large) w/1 cup boiling water
1 - envelope knox gelatin w/ 3/4 cup water
1 package quick thaw strawberries, thawed
2 - bananas, sliced
1 can (small) crushed pineapple-do not drain
1 - 8oz. carton sour cream

How To Make fool proof strawberry jell-o salad

Step 1

In small saucepan, dissolve Knox gelatin in 3/4 cup of water over medium heat.

Step 2

In mixing bowl, combine Jell-O with 1 cup of boiling water, stirring till dissolved. Add Knox gelatin.
Step 3

Add bananas, strawberries and pineapple (with juice) to jello mixture.
Step 4

Pour 1/2 of mixture into a casserole dish. Chill till firm.
Step 5

Spread sour cream over chilled Jell-O mixture, then pour remaining Jell-O mixture on top of sour cream. Chill.
Step 6

Serve topped with Whipped Cream.
