Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E. (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by my Great Aunt Effie.

Ingredients

1 large carton cottage cheese
1 large can crushed pineapple
2 boxes (3 oz size) orange jell-o
1 large carton cool whip

How To Make aunt effie's jell-o salad

Step 1

Drain pineapple and mix with cottage cheese.

Step 2

Mix Cool Whip and Jell-O.
Step 3

Add Cool Whip mixture to cottage cheese mixture. Chill and serve.
