Yummy Honey & Baked Garlic Balsamic Dressing

Andy Anderson !

This dressing is totally addictive. There are only a few ingredients, and it’s easy/peasy to make. And the good new is, you probably have all the stuff you need just sitting in your pantry.

If you’ve never used baked garlic before in a dressing, you’ll love how it creates a deep mellow taste, so much different than using raw garlic.

So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

How to Make Yummy Honey & Baked Garlic Balsamic Dressing

  • 2Gather your ingredients.
  • 3Chef's Note: I used a balsamic vinegar infused with blueberries... A marriage made in heaven.
  • 4Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 325f (165c).
  • 5Place the garlic on a piece of parchment paper, and drizzle a bit olive oil on top.
  • 6Pull the parchment paper together, and twist together at the top.
  • 7Place in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • 8Remove from the oven and allow the garlic to cool.
  • 9Sprinkle with a bit of salt, and then mash with the flat side of a kitchen, or santoku knife.
  • 10Add the honey, vinegar, garlic, and mustard to a medium bowl.
  • 11Whisk to combine the ingredients.
  • 12Slowly add the olive oil, and continue to whisk until all the oil has been added, and it forms an emulsion.
  • 13Season with a bit of salt and pepper, to taste.
  • 15This is an excellent dressing for a nice bed of salad greens. Enjoy.
  • 16Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
