1 largehead of iceberg lettuce
6 largehard boiled eggs - chopped
8 ozcremini or baby bella mushrooms - sliced
8 ozhardwood smoked bacon - chopped and fried crisp
1 mediumvidalia or red onion - diced
How to Make THE ONLY CHOPPED SALAD RECIPE YOU'LL EVER NEED
- In a heavy bottom skillet fry chopped bacon until crisp
- While bacon is frying, Chop remaining ingredients. Layer mushrooms, onions and lettuce ending with mushrooms and onions on top. Add Chopped egg.
- Drain Bacon, let cool, and layer on top of salad. Refrigerate at least an hour before serving. Toss lightly and serve with your favorite Salad Dressing. Add freshly ground black pepper and salt to taste.
