Aside from potato salad, kids tend to avoid most salads. This is not the healthiest choice, but they’ll like it and it’s a start. From "Will Cook for Sex, again, again, and again."

  • ·
    8 strips bacon
  • ·
    2 heads iceberg lettuce
  • ·
    24 red or green seedless grapes
  • ·
    2 large tomatoes
  • ·
    4 oz. sunflower seeds
  • ·
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • ·
    2 tbsp. ketchup

How to Make Team Salad


  1. Heat large pan over medium heat.
    Cook bacon til well done, turning occasionally.
    Set aside on paper towels
  2. Cut lettuce into 3/4 inch squares. Cut grapes in half or quarters, if large. Cut bacon and tomatoes into 1/2 inch squares.
    Make dressing. Mix mayonnaise and ketchup in small cup with smooth.
    Mix remaining ingredients in large bowl and toss with dressing. Serves 10 to 12
