Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 each
    chopped onion and green pepper
  • 2 can(s)
    armor chili with beans
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 pkg
    fritos, regular size
  • 1 large
    pkg. taco cheese
  • 1
    head of lettuce, shredded
  • 2 large
    tomatoes
  • 1 jar(s)
    hot taco sauce

How to Make Taco Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown meat, onion and green pepper, salt and pepper. Heat chili. Layer meat mixture, Fritos, chili, and cheese, repeat. Bake about 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Spoon over lettuce and tomatoes. Top with taco sauce.
